Seeing as Daddysumo posted the idea on my FB page who fancies a bit of outdoor karting at PF international kart circuit Brandon Near Newark .
Look it up it is a fantastic venue and our home track for TVKC .I know the guy who runs the place very well so we would be very well entertained .
If there are enough of you interested I will take my RV up to the track so we can party or sleep over after the efforts of kart driving have concluded.
As a Dad of a son who races the UK over this track is mint, its the home of UK karting and one of the best in Europe holding international and world events.

Did you want one with carbon dip engine shields
might be able to rustle up a green suit and my wife might let you use her carbon crash helmet also just to make you fell stigish 
Thats good we run Zip chassis in Cadet which import topkart not much to it at this stage if you get into doing the timed lap racing alot of bent motors about even at this level sadly ,British Super 1 seris is very regulated which you drop into at 8 upwards we couldnt start till ours was nearly nine/ten as he had to carry 16kg of lead to make the weight.

i have read you can almost triple the power if you know what you are doing ! doesn't seem right to me to allow mods - it does not promote good driving
however if stock engines can have a difference of 30% then some karts will always be slower
i don't plan to mod his engine but if his lap times are a mile off then i will have to consider a tweak

I play alot on my engine dyno before you ask Dyno Pro 50hp model and have found many things but carbs are king if everything else is true ,crank alignment is also another area that goes out frequently.doesn't seem right to me to allow mods - it does not promote good driving

I've been about 6 years away from karting. Used to race at larkhall but did a few super 2 races, the o/plate at Rowrah but ,y favourite track by far was Warden Law in Newcastle.
Can't fault zip kart. I was sponsored by Martin at zip and ran a star kart for a season in World Formula. WS a really good chassis and well set up was excellent In both the wet and the dry.
Shame this is so far away, corporate days are always a laugh!
Fuel always made a huge difference on the 4 stroke karts. Try and use v power (it makes no difference power wise) but tends to come out the pump cleaner. Also use a busy garage with a constant turnover of fuel.
There will be bent motors about that's why I sold up when I did. Just enjoy it though and do practice days, you get far more laps and fun for the money without the pressure Of the race day!
