Starting to get some dates together and Melindi at Goldtrack has confirmed Spa on Monday the 17th 18th of June , now it starts to get interesting because Le-man is the weekend of 22nd and 23rd of june so how about Traveling to the ring on saturday the 15th of June , Ring 2 days , Spa 2 days then a days rest then off to Le-man ? sounds like a good plan to me biggrin

to book Spa with Goldtrack use this link :

http://www.goliathreservations.com/res_web_directo...

At the point where they get the calendar screen they use the promo code Spandexcladgridgirl

This gets you a discount from £375 down too £355 .

i will be traveling down to Le-man on the thursday if anyone wants to tag along , who,s interested ?

Got lots going on that month and I will have a little one to look after.

I'm upset I can't come as I want to actually drive my car at SPA rather than a passenger this time.

Maybe next year.

Have fun.

I might be up for the Spa/Le man part.

What is the estimated cost? How much fuel does it cost to get to Spa etc?

Couple of questions...

I'm interested in doing a shorter trip, Spa on 18th, Ring on the 19th the travel to Le Mans on the Thursday.

Where do you stay in Spa and at what cost ?

When do folks travel back from Le Mans, is the journey back a nightmare on the sunday evening or do most people leave it until the monday morning, just thinking re Eurotunnel ?

I usually travel back on the Sunday evening, it tends to get a bit messy around the circuit on the Sunday evening and quite embarrassing if your British, but then I've always stayed on circuit, it will be quite different at Chanteloup.
The Sunday evening drive is good though as there are a lot of people out on bridges to see the British cars.

I've had my holiday approved, so I'm going to be flying back from Macau for Le Mans this year.

I've not got a car in the UK anymore, so I'm open to suggestions on how to get there.
I could get a flight to Paris, hire a car or a get a train.

But maybe I could take a van or something big that people could sling there tents in...

Thoughts?
