I'm after a front towing eye, anyone have one or know the price of them from SWL?

Also, I change the mono steering wheel my car had in it for a standard one but the centre insert is the black swede. I'd like to have grey leather with the 3R on as that what should be in my car with that trim. Anyone have that piece?

Regards
Mark

Not worth buying a standard towing eye as they bend or can even snap if used, mine was used once and went very oval. Reverie do a carbon one or maybe get one made in stainless smile

Going to bump this.

I don't mind only getting one use out the eye if I can pay a minimal price for one. As it keeps the car standard too. Suppose it gives a sacraficial part as well.
SWLC want £51 but Noble must just source them in from somewhere!

i am pretty sure Tux or Bondy (can't remember who) had some laser cut ones made that were much stonger

it is false economy to use the stock one - you can't use it more than once !

I'm after a newer, stronger version. Used the standard one before Christmas and now its egg shape, I certainly wouldn't trust it again!

Id be interested in getting a new set.

I know Worty was doing them, however stopped. If its possible to get hold of the CAD file, i can have some made.

I can ask if I can get some more made if there's enough interest?

Also I've got all sorts of bits kicking about. Need to have a clear out. I know there's a temp guage, original rear towing eye, original intercooler and standard front splitter.

If anyone interested pm me

I'll have a pair Worty , not convinced carbon ones will stand any sideways pressure , be fine pulling straight on though .

Was the person trying to sell you a different type? smile

I have the reverie carbon towing eyes, sadly I've had a few winches onto trucks, they are strong enough, not even the slightest of marks or deformed shape wise.

That's good to hear mate. I want Carbon ones. Match my splitter, wing mirrors, door handles, spoiler.....and at some point rear diffuser with vanes!

Might give reverie a call....
