Compomotive wheels

I've been trying to get some of the 6 spoke compomotive wheels for some time now as my GTO wheels are looking a bit tired , I have harassed Matt at Jetstream for weeks trying to get him to sort some out , compomotive originally did a nice wheel but there manufactureing technique change and they would no longer fit .
Well we have had a bit of a result as compomotive have agreed to redesign and make us some sets up
Is anyone interested in a set ? Cost will be £1250+vat but I'm hoping to get that down a bit if we can get some numbers can you let me know .

t from some on the forum I will delete topic . The original design had a 9" front instead of 8.5" so you should confirm what they're offering Simon. They can supply them in any offset you desire but if you're going with 9" front then you don't want the standard offset as they'll not fit well. The cock up wasn't a change to design, more a manufacturing mistake that they tried to suggest was my fault (my car must be different to Andygtt's) which I never received an apology for.
Oh and for reference they were only £1080 delivered anyway. Plus they're far heavier than Speedlines although slightly lighter than the 3R's.

Hello All,
I have had my wheels now for 7 years and they have been great. Compomotive had a complete restructure on how they manufacture their wheels a few years ago. They were wasting too much material in the process, so they changed the casting moulds. This is why there were a few sets that were sold to customers with incorrect offsets and spoke thicknesses. So after trying to sort for a couple of years, I finally managed to convince them to re-manufacture their MO6 dies so that we can sell the when again. I took my car down to them, and spent all day measuring and trying on wheels, with standard AP calipers and Our new 6 pot big brake kit. With my original Comp MZo6 wheels there is loads of clearance. When we tried fitting the ones they had ready made for a Noble, none would fit, front or rear. So we checked more measurements. Compomotive are re-designing at my expense so we can have them. They are now going to make the wheels for us, to the correct offsets, but will be 9" wide front and 10" rear. The main reason for doing this is so that they can retain the "dished rim", to match the rear wheel design, only not as deep.
They are not as light as the Speedlines, but are bloody strong! I will get all of the Noble wheel options weighed shortly and let you know.

I have a set of Speedline for track, comps for road (as they are silly strong and I prefer the look) and 3r ones collecting dust lol

Good call - the absolutely disgraceful state of roads now demands a super strong wheel. And on road the extra weight will not matter a jot. My carbon Dymags are used only on track now Edited by andygtt on Monday 4th February 11:01
