All,

remember this video of me crashing into a field at Croft last year (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0UjkqsTjCVc&list=UUmhiJ67kHkxZYOF7A5TWLPg&index=10).

well i've just had an email from a production company who want to use the clip in a show for the discovery channel, which has a feature on brake failure in it! did make me laugh but they are willing to pay for the media release of the footage :-), how much do you think it is worth?

cheers

James

A friend of mine had a similar incident when we were at Croft racing motorbikes, difference was he pitched up to the corner on hig GSXR100 and the throttle was stuck full on, he somehow had the sense to hit the kill switch and jump off before it enter the field, he was OK luckily, and 10 minutes later drove me to Morrisons....lol

Your no brake crash is quite epic, that was the only corner in pretty much the whole of the UK that you'd get away with that incident, I'm pleased to say.

I'd be inclined to pay you NOT to have it used! - plebs get the wrong idea and may think Nobles are badly built or unsafe.

Mmmm also nice to have a car you might sell on tv, forever immortalised in a crash, I'm sure it won't affect the value :/ if you can get the difference in price for the clip go for it smile

Of all of the likely ways that Discovery will portray the crash, I don't see many which reflect positively on the car.

While a selfish stance to take, I could see this a being quite damaging to reputation, with little grounds for it to be as a one-off event.

Couple of hundred quids, not much more, It's £200 for a you've been framed clip, come to think of it keep the outright ownership of the footage and try YBF for a couple of hundred more hehe

Every Man and his Dog has already seen it on here. I reckon more prospective buyers will be searching these forums if there interested in buying a Noble than checking it out on Discovery!
