Fuel gauge stuck on a full tank ?

Fuel gauge is stuck on full but I know it's more or less completely empty ?

Any one had this ?

I'd start by checking two places - on top of the fuel tank where the fuel level sender attaches to a short pigtail, and a little lower, near the tunnel, where the pigtail attaches to the electrical harness. My guess is that there's a bad connection there somewhere...

when the fuel guage is not getting a reading it reads full.... I had same issue when the plug to the fuel sendor had come apart in the engine bay.
