Door handles

I bought a set of metro exterior door handles a few years ago to get them sprayed the same colour as the car, they are metal and not plastic as the originals, is there any problems in using them ???

Think I got them from a rover 100 to be honest

When you say "metal" are they Alu., Zinc, steel, just wondering about anodising them.....

Think they are aluminium
