Hi all see attached picture of a hose I found loose and have squashed into intake pipe although does not look right.

Can someone tell me what pipe this is and should there be anything connected to the hose hole above which is empty.

This hose seems to rub on the pulleys.

This is on the drivers side rear intake.

Just an air feed from the side pod to direct air at the alternator , they are all squashed , I just pulled mine off and did the tunnel mod .

Details in search , but you use 2 off the heater box supply tubes to feed air down the tunnel , this cools the tunnel and feed air to the front of the engine . company like Bespoke and Jetstream can do the work for you if you cannot do it yourself but its a worthwhile upgrade .

I'm currently in the middle of this mod! Parts arrived yesterday the flanges and clips etc I ordered. Now just to out it back together ;-) let's hope it makes a decent difference. Did you guys cut away the web section at the front air duct for more air to get in?
