Very bright blue M12 GTO in Black Horse car park at Swainby, North Yorkshire. Adorned with a million and one flys who obviously couldn't get out of the way quick enough

Hmmm, must wash some of them off. The Black Horse is a great place for a lunch-time pint. The Lion Inn at Blakey Ridge (Hutton Le Hole) is even better (it's further) and way down into the North Yorkshire Moors and they do Old Peculier.

Hmmm, I sound like a piss head not a piston head. Oh well

Alcohol effects + Noble performance = disaster waiting to happen.

Don't worry I could drive it home for him.

Anyhow, if you are familiar with the area, The Blackwell Ox have some great guest beers and also the Queen Catherine at Osmotherly do a great line in Nick Stafford ales.
Do we have a beer thread around here?

Ooops, was at the Blackwell Ox this evening (Timothy Taylors Landlord, very drinkable). Haven't been to the Catherine's for some months, but have been to the Golden Lion also in Osmotherly 2 weeks ago. Overall just trying to put something back into the economy..

Must spend more time driving, less stopping at hostelries.

Does anyone know if there is an active Noble contingent in the North East?

Check my profile. I'm in Newcastle upon Tyne. Had a great day at Croft last weekend with Northeast Pistonheads. Meeting up with them tonight at Shafto's near Bishop Auckland to pick up a CD with all the photographs from the Croft track day. Good bunch of lads and lasses.

I'm aware of only one other Noble in town that belongs to a dentist and is an early 2.5 in Silver.

Cheers,
Ian.

Saw the pics of the Croft meet on the North East forum, looked great, 3rtt, glad you kept the car in one piece despite some off-roading.

I'm sure I've seen a champagne coloured 3r or M400 near Stokesley (10 miles south of 'Boro)- only got a glimpse!

Need to get onto track sometime, hostelries seem to have taken precedence.

Hmmm

Another Noble in North Yorks..! I use my 2.5 Azure Blue everyday, cover whole of N.Yorks for work so get some great driving. Weekends are spent mostly abusing the 5GTT at trackdays. Tssch, Noble factory told me I was the only one they knew of in N.Yorks...

Two azure blue Nobles in North Yorks! I drive mine to work but mostly on Fridays, it's dress down day, plus you can get a flier home.

The A19 is an interesting drive past Boro, Scoobys seem to appear from nowhere and want to play, restraint, restraint...

I tend to cover York, Harrogate, Scarborough, Whitby areas, after 3 months of ownership, only car that has obviously wanted to "have a go" was a Saxo Drive it everyday, can't fault it. Will look out for you

I should have reminded you of this this evening; Blackwell Ox? Again? Abbotts Ale tonight perhaps?

Blimey, quite right, it was Abbot Ale! I actually originally asked for Timothy Taylor's Landlord, but it's a guest beer (like Abbot's). Another great pub in North Yorkshire, with Thai food to die for.

I saw a TVR near the pub was that your's? You certainly get around the pubs! Clearly I only check them occasionally.

It might have been me if you saw me on the A172 between 4:59ish and 5:00ish. Had to drive to Stokesley and back to dry the car off.
