Car is currently on standard 3R turbo's, T25's?

Am having some work done hoping to go up to about 490bhp, so what are the choices of turbo recommended for this power? T28's? The GT turbo's I've seen mentioned? Also an idea of price would be useful smile

Cheers
Paul

Depends what you really want.

If you want to stay around 490-500 ish then GT25's would be a good bet. Small and spool up very quickly
If youll be tempted to go for 550-600+ then GT28's would be the way to go.

Neither are particularly cheap, and you will need new oil and water lines

Well i'm still on stock pistons so wont be going over 500 anytime soon. Never say never but would like to spec turbos to this power rather than for more power but with a big lag.

Go for the GT25'rs mate, they'll cover you upto 550 or more and minimal lag. Don't chase 600, pointless exercise in my experience, 550 is the most a noble needs.

I have T28s and find them a bit slow on initial pickup mid range is awesome. Running 400 bhp

I hated the T28 , very laggy and unreliable , Graham is spot on GT25 or Gt28 is the way to go much better spool up more efficient at making power for less heat as well , cost is 2k ish were as upgrading the T25 is 1k But you get brand new turbos rather than re- engineered .

Adrian makes well over 550bhp from GT25rs... Personally I'd get this for a car making 500bhp as I also hated the T28.
