Oh and Phil says he's legally obliged to remind you that it's a Ford GT, not a GT40. wink

Wel you missed a spotted,( which is a poor show for a mod!) I was going other way on the A12. Couldn't go to the show. it was son's academy training in the morning at Chadwell Heath, and onto Upton Park for the first team game.
What was it like?

I'm sorry I didn't see you, I can't have been with it this morning. paperbag

The show was pretty good, small but well organised. There were some very interesting cars there and they have plans to make it bigger, so probably worth considering for next year. No Nobles in attendance, although Adrian did turn up in something else (he blamed the weather forecast for not bringing it wink ).

laugh Mind you it probably wouldn't have done as much damage as someone did to his front wing. Having just spent loads on having it detailed, returning to the car to find it badly scratched means Phil's not a happy bunny at the mo. It would have been nice if the FGT could have lasted more than 24 hours before needing to be detailed again (detailing might not even be enough to fix it). Just one of the issues with showing a car I suppose. frown

Sorry to hear that. I've just had the 75 mopped (don't laugh!) for teh Fifth gear program, and the bloke did a great job for 100 quid on a 12 year old car with paint that looked like a skating rink.
He's based in Hatfield Peverel if you're interested, and happy to do one panel if that is all that's needed.

Thanks for the offer, but Phil will go back to KDS as they know the car. He's concerned though that it's bad enough to need a front end respray.yikes

I wasnt sure how well attended the show would be but i hear they had links with JD Classics in maldon so i'm guessing there were some nice motors there. Should definitely get a Noble group together next year, especially as its only 15 minutes up the road from me !

Two miles-ish from me.Apparently one of the new partners of the Warren golf club ( it went under a while back and a group of three have taken it over)was showing 3 of his own cars worth 10 million quid!
