Hi guys. My front end feels very light and don't feel very grippy.
Would you say I need to stiffen or soften front suspension.

Do you have the canards and a splitter?

No canards. Got boomerang type splitter. Wheel arch infils. Blach art designs suspension.

Sort feels like the front isn't attached. And I'm loosing confidence in it

Full length splitter and canards helped improve my car, however corner weighting and either lowering the front or raising the rear if your already really low helps improve the front end a heap. I used to have big under steer and a light front end but not since having the above done.

I did have it corner weighted but just don't feel right.
Would softening or stiffening the suspension help do you think as dampers are adjustable

The rears are new but have bondys wheels and tyres on the front until sort my cracked one out. Running 28 rear and 18 front. Shall I put fronts to 20.

The car felt a bit light for ages it's just worse now.

Stiffening it up will give you more feedback and might make it feel more connected, however you might encourage more under steer if you go to stiff and don't adjust the rear to match.

Ok so if stiffen front up what do I need to do to the rear.
I can handle a bit of understeer just want to feel what the hell the car is doing rather than the tight is this gonna throw me into a tree any second. Lol

Just make small adjustments at a time and it shouldnt throw you in a ditch, lol. stiffen the fronts by 2 clicks and put the pressure up to 22. I run 22 up front. Think that should help, try and let us know how it feels.

I'd still recommend the full length splitter at least if your not keen on the look of canards as the boomerangs will still let a huge amount of air go under the car and reduce any potential downforce. Canards and full splitter on I can really feel the front end being pushed into the ground... Especially above 130mph wink

If your not on all your own wheels and tyres as that might be throwing things a bit.

i would play around with tyre pressures first and find the level that reduces the feel as much as poss, then as Graham says adjust the suspension to compensate for the remaining, for example before I go onto a motorway for long periods of time without stopping, I lower my tyre pressures as they create more heat and give a better ride.
For normal roads I raise them.

Any more details than "My front end feels very light and don't feel very grippy"? We usually try to break it down into segments, like turn-in, mid-corner, corner exit. Or are you getting this feeling while going in a straight line? Under acceleration, decel, or coasting? Anyway, more info will make it easier to tune the suspension.

What sort of adjustments do you have on your shocks? Rebound and compression, or just one or the other? What ride height are you using in front and rear?
