Have managed to find some extra cash down the back of the settee, so now have a budget of £29k for a 3R

Looking for straight, clean car with following mods completed , or priced accordingly for these to be completed :-

- stronger exhaust manifolds
- stainless exhaust replacement
- floor resealed
- upgraded fuel pump and wiring

After later 6 speed model with TDS, with full service history, no accident damage repairs, with no rust to chassis.

Would need any car inspected by a Noble specialist. (at my cost)

If anyone knows a car out there that meets above, or someone is looking to sell their P&J soon, please get in contact

Look forward to joining the Noble community soon smile

Cheers Dave.

selling my gto3, 5 speeder replaced box, with diff upgrade, tds fitted, wiring upgrade, tunnel mod, upgraded intercooler, upgraded engine "bits", upgraded brakes. It's alot less than your looking for but the spare cash could bring the spec further up or save for fuel tyres and brakes.

Hi, car look lovely but I am specifically after a 3R model. Things such as leather interior , 6 speed etc are important to me as standard.

Thanks for replying though.

There's no doubt that these cars are going to appreciate, I bought mine back in July! Best of luck!

Well I bought the classic 911 on that basis, but tbh I think to just not lose money is more realistic and still a nice feeling for a change wink

Interesting that you are after leather interior. These cars are warm at the best of times, even with the tunnel mod (which mine has).

I searched high and low for one with alcantara interior as it grips you in the seat better and isn't nearly as sweaty as leather!

GTO-3, track day sump, upgraded both manifolds, LSD, 6 speed box, black pro alloy intercooler, fuel pump wiring upgrade, tunnel mod, carbon spiltter, floor infils, wing ends, door handles, inside door pockets, wing mirror covers, inside door handle surrounds, grooved front discs, upgraded pads all round, remapped by the best (Trevor Jasper).

Just fancied contributing to the thread, because although mine currently does about 50 miles in 4 months, it is definitely not for sale!
But sounds like you wouldn't want it anyway....

I'm trying to say this without upsetting people, but I just don't like alcantara in a car. I had the same feeling when speccing the ultima and even thought my mates Ferrari 360CS didnt look good with alcantara. I hated the steering wheel on my GT3 in alcantara too. I think I've seen too many kit cars over the years that default to alcantara interiors that have been poor., so immediately associate other cars in the same vain.

I know it's all a personal thing and some people love it, but for me personally I feel the leather interior is just a nice place to be. Your point about grip is very relevant, especially those doing track days, but I'm a after a car for just the road. BtW the spec of your car is very impressive.

I suppose the reason for wanting a 3R is also because it' ticks all the boxes for me, without having to research and double check all mods done on other cars to get to same or better spec.

Fair point. Interesting personal preference. Life would be dull if everyone wanted the same things!

Funny how you bring up the 360 CS - one of the only cars I'd sell my Noble for and in particular I love them with the alcantara interior.

Each to their own.

If only for the noise..... I went in one round brands hatch once but the guy was so slow in the corners it was pointless being on track.

Why did you not rate your drive / ride?

One of the best sounding cars I'd heard from the outside, from inside it sounded like a noisy buzzy bag of nails at anything other than 8000rpm. Didn't feel particularly quick (I know we're spoilt!),and I just generally came away feeling a bit flat about it. Probably a case of don't neet your heroes, and not unusual for me with Fezza's, I just don't seem to get them, other than recent 4 up blast out in a FF, which was a stunning piece of kit.
