Engine Stalls on Full Lock
Discussion
Nope.
At a rough guess you have "air" entering the system on the idle circuit - it means that there isn't enough power to keep things happy on full load.
I've had idetical issues with my Ur Quattro (2.2l turbo), and the same issue but with different results (basically my engine wouldn't idle properly for a few weeks) on the M12 so to me that sounds like a potential cause.
Either wait until the next service (Mole V seem to find the odd induction air leak on mine it seems around every 12000, don't seem to charge me anything to fix them though!!!!...) or pop into your local friendly service centre and they will be able to "plug in" and find out what's wrong.

Do you have PAS then? Often with PAS you will hear the engine labouring slightly as it reaches full lock, as if the PAS is straining to force the steering further than it will go and putting a significant amount of load on the engine in the process. Could this be enough to stall a cold engine in your case?
