how to test my fan and aircon??

Hi all, when my car was last on the road i had no fan (on the rad) and my air con had not been working for a while. I'm wondering how i can test them to see what has failed? just to complicate things the engine etc is not in the car.

i think the 2.5 has a fan switch - if you can find it, short it out and the fan will come on

you will need the engine fitted to test the air con

Cheers Gadge, I thought as much with regards to the aircon. Shame as when the engine is in, there is no room in there to get to the pump etc.
