willians harness advice please

hi all are our willians harnesses just standard 4 point or are they different in any way i am about to buy a new set in black as i am re trimming my interior the ones i am ordering are described as willians supersport 4x4 caterham harnesses are these the correct ones they do look right but any advice would be great thanks sean

No, they are not same as standard - as the top rear mounting points are at the height of the seat cutouts, the distance from the harness eye to the buckle before the top adjuster is very short and the "standard" ones don't fit very well as they are too long and the buck sits in the wrong place.

Don't know how the Caterham ones fit though.

i fitted caterham sized ones in my car a few weeks back... had to change the bolts and use the stock noble ones though as they had different threads... mine were sabelts ones rather than williams though.

As above the shoulder straps are short, described as single seater style with the mounts right behind the seat, best advice I can give is measure the standard belt length between buckle and mount when it's adjusted with you sat in it, call them and tell them the length then they add 6" or so of adjustment either way, don't order online as you won't get what you need. The standard noble items are not an off the shelf option.

Even better send your harness away, they will measure and return within two days then you'll have a 2-6 week wait depending on the order book!

Willans told me they are the Caterham spec. I did buy Caterham spec from Sabelt in the end and they fitted fine.

thanks for all info guys just ordered a set of the willians 4x4 supersport caterham belts seems these are the correct ones to fit our nobles however not cheap though but will look nice with my retrim thanks again for advice cheers sean
