So having had the aircon topped up last year earlier was a little surprised this year that the aircon wasn't working.

When I finally got around to checking it seems there is no refrigerant in the system and a trip to a local garage has confirmed this

The leak seems to be coming from around the receiver drier.

I'm thinking of trying replacing the seals and retightening the connections first but may need to replace the unit.

Does anyone know what car the reciever drier is from and part number etc?

Thanks

Andrew

Wessexrfc put me on to Papworth:

Very helpful and knowledgeable. He managed to send me the correct part just by giving a description of mine over the phone!

Are you talking about the black cylinder with the sight glass by the near side front wheel? I replaced mine and it is the same as on a tvr, cost me £20.

I am indeed talking about this

Can I ask where you got it from?

No problem, they were very helpful so worth giving them a try. I clear lacquered mine before fitting to keep it looking nice.
