Firstly thanks for all the solid and helpful advice with regard to noble ownership.
I am looking for a 3r or m400 and would appreciate your thoughts on both, my wife enjoys driving our sports cars we have had several, although she found our last caterham a little extreme and hard work. My thoughts lean towards a 3r for this reason although the m400 may have better residuals/ increase in value?
The car would do the odd track day, lads European trip once a year and weekends away for my wife and I occasionally.
Also do any of you know of any 3r s or m400 that might be on the market at present not advertised?
Many thanks in advance.

Seems your on a similar path as mine, wife always drives my cars and loves driving the Noble. I went with a 3R and tuned to more than a M400 over time, with money saved in the pocket. M400's are hard to come by and the prices are finally starting to rise across the board. One thing I really like on the M400 is the alcantana, this will be on my list for mine. Look for a good one that has had the upgrades ie exhaust, intercooler and a few others I'm sure you know about. Bol with this.

My 3R is for sale
That's a shame Slider, as it's a cracking example. You'll have no problem selling.

For the OP, there's a couple of pics on the thread below of our
Slider's car and mine.

How did you get the engine covers coated red? I would like to do something similar. I wish my engine bay looked like that! How did you manage to get it looking so good!
Thanks

The engine cover was powder coated by the previous owner, it just takes lots of cleaning to keep it clean after every run out I can be found under the rear clam, sad I know.

It looks like all but one of the m400's on here sold. Did you sell yours sjc?
Didn't seem to take long for them to go and they were all over £40k I think.
Are there any of the new owners of the cars on here now?
I thought that when I looked yesterday Jamie, but today - they're nearly all back (bar the Kerridges blue one marked as sold).Didn't seem to take long for them to go and they were all over £40k I think.
Are there any of the new owners of the cars on here now?
And here was I thinking that the next 'batch' would be pushing Sag money!

Haven't put mine up officially for sale yet, but Chris (the OP, nice guy) had a look this week.Unless I'm mistaken,I got the impression he thought mine was the M400 to buy out of the ones he'd looked at, but he went for the nice blue 3R at Kerridges eventually.Hopefully he'll be along to update this thread.I'm not dissapointed at all!
Guys
I have bt the blue 3r at kerridges but without doubt Andys m400 was the best, most sorted and tidiest m400 I looked at, so mileage is nothing to go on.
I am already slightly regretting not going for it, whoever buys it will get a very sorted car, but at least it gives me a m400 to aim for nxt time.
Thanks for all the info, I am sure I will be on here shortly with some annoying questions, thanks for the test drive Andy .

Cheers Chris for your thoughts on my M400,nice to hear that when I haven't even advertised it yet!I'll put the price up now when I do actually advertise it! Might also ask Kerridges for commission going by the amount of cars they've sold from my recommendation!I have bt the blue 3r at kerridges but without doubt Andys m400 was the best, most sorted and tidiest m400 I looked at, so mileage is nothing to go on.
