Well my M400 has finally arrived in the US. It still needs a number of parts to complete the chassis and then of course an engine. I guess it will be ready just in time for the Chicago winter.

Rich, don't worry, the heater works great but you might need a small ship's anchor to throw around the odd tree just in case you go "off piste" in the snow and ice!

Here some pictures. The interior has a mistake from the order. The fabric on the section near the gear shift and emergency brake is supposed to be black not gray. Gray on the door is the only thing that is not going to be black. Also, I will be changing the steering wheel and gear shift knob. One minor change from stock you may notice is that the mirror stands are black not silver and the wing in fully painted, no graphite. Obviously needs some seats, wheels, and engine but at least the car has arrived.

Very Nice - what color is that?? Its not quite Azure blue... at least it looks a little darker.

I wonder who has the yellow one in the background.....

Three more days and counting for mine......

It is the standard Indigo Blue. I think the lighting and flash that was used changes the color a bit.

Hi Rich,

Have just been in touch with the Rosens about getting an image of the car taken outside the workshops with its wheels on, and you, Ron and Dean standing by it.

Selling our first M400 in the States would make a nice little news story in the British press.

Can you e-mail me at simon.hucknall@noblecars.com and let me know if you'd be okay with this?

Thanks.

That's really great to see! ! ! How powerful will the motor be?? Can't wait to hear your driving impressions, impressions from a person used to USA's cars. Does Chicago test emsissions? In Nebraska and a lot of states there are no emissions so one could put in a really snotty engine.

Why has this M400 got the "traditional" M12 splitter?

Rich, next time you go to tease yourself some more please take a close-up photo of the centre console with the two gauges (I'd like to know what has been moved to fit two units in so neatly?).

There is a picture of the interior that shows the center console although it is not a close up. Basically the set of indicators on the left has been shifted further left. This makes enough space to fit two gauges under the three control knobs above. The gauge on the right is a combination gauge that has temperature (I think) and oil pressure on the same gauge. The start button has been moved down below the silver panel into the black section. I will take a closer picture next time.

If you get this months car with the car of the year thing in, they have a pic of the m400 interior with the same gauge treatment. Shame my black plastic area has already been cut to accomodate the gauge as I definitely prefer this solution.

I agree Dan, closer up to the drivers'line of sight.
