Agree with your sentiments entirely.

Matt is such a top man that if you are lucky enough your car could even head to Jetstream in this....

But just because its in a trailer and being towed by a van.....don't expect it to be slow when Matt is at the wheel!!!

Jetstream are top guys, very quickly sorted out my car when I smashed the front end at my last race, been doing a few upgrades/changes too which I'll share when it's back in my possession.

Must be the angle it's on Matt's trailer. I definitely have NOT raised the wing. No disrespect to Tux and others, but that would not suit mine!

Slipstream, you should see mine there then. Although Matt will have it under a cover to stop it getting remotely dusty.... wink

Yep, they are quite simply the best smile

I don't think there is anything they can't do, and the quality of work is always outstanding.

They recently fitted new mirrors for me (must get around to taking some pics !! biggrin) and I'm picking my road wheels (trafficstars) up from them soon after a refurb - can't wait!

I found one thing this weekend they can't do. (Admittedly, it's not at all relevant to any thing ever discussed on this forum, but it's something.....)

Ploughing.

Matt is a master of flying, driving fast in cars, tractors, vans and almost anything BUT he doesn't know how to plough a field.

Thanks Paul , she has been a fun project , best not discuss the cost although the man hours are the bit I enjoy !! Getting help from Dave and Matt is also a big help !!!
As you suggest not too much more to be done , Jetstream are fitting some new interior bits and trimman is recovering the door cards , some chassis strengthening bars are also being fitted .

Over the winter I'm going to take the engine out for some refurb work in the engine bay and try and fit a better clutch as I hate the updated helix unit but for the first time I do not have a big list of upgrades !!

Good mod! It really stiffens up the car, wondered when you would give in!

You getting door bars, cross bar and rear uprights?

Cool, glad to hear it!

Just had a look at the regs for that series, my noble could enter if it was de-tuned to 350bhp and carried 640kg of ballast! Haha bummer

What car do you plan to build for it? Looks like a good fun way to start, wish I'd done something similar now looking back, it's insane racing the Noble at the speeds it can now get to.

idea O.K, I'll join in on the 'praise Jetstream' thread too because it's bound to get me in Matt & Dave's good books and save me thousands of pounds over the next few years!whistle

Seriously though, unless my back's against the wall, my car will only ever go there.

Hi Graham , going to start with a Porsche 944 , then do all the work myself to get her ready , luckily a good mate races one so he is going to help along with support from Jetstream, !! !
Though about racing the Noble but its just got too much money tied up in her !!

Sounds good, should be a fun car to perfect your race craft in, the unfortunate thing is, when racing the car is now the cheap thing, it's tyres, pads, fuel to get to races, entry fees and B+B's/hotels that quickly mount up to a small fortune.

My bump is looking like it will have cost me £3k in damage (not bad for a 60mph-0mph in a second) but the cost for a race weekend is adding up to about £1500-2000 per race. So amazingly worth it all when you qualify on the front or second row then cross the line to take a podium finish! Can't wait till the next one! Maybe I could be your 2nd driver in a race, would be good to try the longer endurance races in something different too.
