At the end of the last series the rumours were flying. The M 400 had topped the time chart and would be on the first programme. But it wasn't and I want to know why! Simon, (Micknall), any idea when it will be on? Martin.

They must be leaving it until after the ENZO. More dramatic.

Funny though I thought I had tuned into a motoring program not a cookery show with just a hint of petrolhead..........

... when they do this crap with ice-cream vans trying to fly I start channel-hopping - hopeless!

Re the M400, Clarkson said that the Porsche went round Hammerhead at 85mph - fatser than anything else - I wonder what the M400 did it on?!

Rumours - exactly, Martin. I have never made any promises about either the M400's lap-times on TG (because I don't know what they were) or on which programme the footage will be aired. As with any weekly form of media, the producers of the show will keep the scheduling of most stories fluid, so that there's a bit of light and shade in each programme.

When was the M400 recorded? It seems they've let this drag on for ages...

I almost forgot but some of us fortunate Nobility will be on the TG test track soon - maybe we'll prove some times for ourselves! :-)

The M400 was recorded during TG's last off-season, so give them a chance: the series only started last night!

I think I saw the M400 briefly on the "this is the new series" thing they did at the start of the first programme

I am sure I also saw it on the 5th Gear "what's to come on our Head to Head" trailer. Head to Head is any car timed on the Angelsey circuit. Currently they have a motorbike as the fastest ahead of a Murcielagowhastsitsname which is ahead of an M3CSL. So where will the M400 end up?

I searched through the TG preview in slow motion on the TiVo last night and didn't get a glimpse of a Noble.
