Hello everybody,

A couple of months ago I became the proud owner of a Noble M400.
Since then I have been trying to get the car registered for road use in Belgium, up untill now with little succes.
The main problem is that the car has been fitted with an aftermarket exhaust which will not pass MOT tests in Belgium.
The previous owner shipped the car to Belgium with what he said was the original exhaust. But according to my mechanics there are some pieces missing and some other parts that they think do not even belong to my car. They have tried modifying the exhaust that is currently fitted but the car failed it's MOT testing because of noise and emissions.
This leaves me searching for either a complete M400 compatible exhaust or the missing pieces: my mechanic would be very happy with two cats and the piping that runs from the front side turbo to the cat.

I know that some of you guys are running your cars with aftermarket exhausts, so I am hoping that someone may still have their original exhaust (or the missing parts) lying around and are willing to sell them?
Or can someone tell me where I can find a replacement exhaust for the car that will comply with noise and emissions regulations?

I'm willing to drive some distance to collect these items if they can not be shipped to Belgium (but not crazy enough to come all the way up to Scotland ;-)

Hope there's somebody out there who can help me.

What type of aftermarket exhaust do you have?
I'm looking to upgrade my standard system so could possibly work out a swap?

How strict are the tests on emissions as most of the people I have spoke to about the exhausts have had to work hard to find ways to get cars passed uk mot tests even with all 3 cats in place

This looks really nice.
But also rather expensive...
Any idea on the price of this exhaust?

I've got no idea what type or make the exhaust is.
According to my mechanic it's a complete decat and it's running without the lambda probes.
All I know is that it's rather loud (in a positive way)

And I said I wasn't coming to Scotland for an exhaust tongue out

With all the cats missing you can remap all you want, not a chance of a snowball in hell that it will pass MOT tests in Belgium.frown

If your car has been mapped when the exhaust was fitted, i think just swapping back to a standard exhaust will cause problems?

Yep, ECU will need to be reprogrammed to standard settings.
