I have 9100 miles on the clock and was wondering what sort of life is left in the tyres, based on the experiences of other owners. Have people found that tyre life varies between front and rear. Any help would be appreciated. And please no sarcastic comments. This is a serious question.

I've bought 2 sets of SO3 rears so far and am on 8400 miles, original fronts are still OK, currently running around on 048R but am going to swap back to my normal set soon due to the weather getting rubbish.

Hi Chris,

My mileage is identical. Guess wear depends on how much of mileage is track work. My original SO3s are still around 4mm back and 5mm fronts - but most of mileage is commute/motorway
.
How much tread did you take off them at the skid pan at Millbrook?!

Dear All,
I was getting 3K out of rears and about 4K from fronts on SO3 - mainly track. ZZRs wore at approx 1mm per hard track day. My Yoko 48s seem to be wearing at about 3-4 races per set but Lee Noble reckons he gets through a set "per event".

Anybody tried F1's on a noble. I have previously run Pzero's /S03's and F1's on my MR2 and would rate the S03 worst of all on that car.

If you use it in as much wet weather as here (in Scotland), the SO3 is probably the best choice. I know they can overheat on track in the sultry South!
