Hi All,

My friend has commented that he thinks Nobles would look really good with a curved wing rather than the straight one, 'forward swept' if you will to follow the lines of the clamshell.

I've seen pictures of this before, but can't find them, so if you have any could you post here, preferably with details of the wing fitted as well if you know them.

Thanks

Matt

These seem good value, only carbon coated FRP though.

3" each side narrower, i'm not near my car at the moment but i'll see if that's going to look out of place this weekend.

I assume yours is a APR as well?

Thanks

Have you not learnt yet, with the exception of a few members, everything is a secret on here!!

You need to speak to Japspeed, here is the full width 1760mm wing :
http://www.japspeed.co.uk/Nissan-200SX-S13/Exterio...

The wing supports are naff and the standard fixing holes dont line up with the Noble holes - you need to get imaginative for fitting.

ETA - Instock on the Ebay store - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JAPSPEED-NISSAN-200SX-S1...
That price must be a typo, worth contacting them.

I contacted Japspeed, they found one at a re-seller in Ireland for me as they where out of stock.

Nice, guess I shouldn't bother to post up all the development and DIY methods for mods on here anymore.

That way no one will tell you that you're doing it wrong :-)

Turns out its not a typo, they have put that price as they are out of stock, and will amend it to £349 when they are back in stock. (Not sure why they just omit the advert when out of stock, must be costing them to list it)

Regarding the wing supports, does the Japspeed wing mountings permit you to use the standard noble ones, or must you use the Japspeed ones? Is the spacing adjustable or fixed? I know you say above that the holes don't line up with the Noble holes, but i'm not sure whether you mean on the clamshell or on the spoiler.

Any chance you could take a photo of the underside of the wing when it meets the supports, and maybe measure the distance between the mounting holes? It would be of great benefit to me, as my car has custom made wing supports, but still has the standard wing (I think, looks like it)

Thanks

Matt

I looked into the Japspeed one as its close to the width of the APR one. The reason I chose to use the APR one is that its not just for looks as it actually has downforce data for each angle and is pretty efficient... I wanted an upgrade for both looks and performance.

To be fair mine was actually paid for by insurance as my original got destroyed in the 'forgot to do up the rear clip' incident hence the massive extra cost wasn't a major issue smile

btw I only got arsy this morning as I spend a lot of time to try and impart the knowledge and experience from all the work and development I do on my noble... Ive spent close to £75k modifying mine over the years, some of which is because I didnt know secret stuff so have quite a bit of experience and inside knowledge gained through pain and cash, and whilst i'm not prepared to sell the stuff I develop (due to workload), I have had people from the forum I don't really know round to teach them how to make parts for the car, so it right pee'd me off lol.
Thanks for amending the post smile

Just to chip in, I'm one of the people Andy has helped out in taking a great deal of time to show how to make a carbon splitter.

I've always found the forum to be helpful. Some stuff isn't written down but there's always someone here who will answer a question.

BTW Andy- what oil doe the 6 speed box take?

Agreed. Everyone is very helpful and I like the stuff people make for themselves and the rest of us.

Especially Tuxman racing front splitter, which one day I will have to reinvest in as mine gets scraped going down into the garage my car lives in!
