Yes no mention of the write off... For uk prices it's 20k over priced IMO

Err you just did, but you're quite right, a straight standard car (but uprated engine) would be circa 25K, then you have the "trimmings"
which obviously has taken time and money to do, though "popular" opinion is that bodywork mods only detract from value and decrease market appeal, Nobles etal though do tend to "invite" such modification.
It'll be interesting to see if it sells at that or near that price, and whether the "re-build" is mentioned at point of sale.
If not I suspect the new owner will turn up on here and won't be a very happy bunny.

Bit harsh surely - you are not going to find a straight standard car in this condition for £25k.

Can't comment on the write off as before my time, but I don't believe it is an "M" anything is it? I presume it's a modified 3R?

Pretty sure It's a gt03, was badly smashed up in Cyprus and put back on road there, body mods done when it was repaired which included chassis repairs. Even absolutely mint with perfect past gt03 are not selling above 25k in uk yet?
It was originally silver, there are threads on it rebuild on here (unless they have been deleted)

Engine it stock internally as far as I know so has larger turbos injectors etc and upgrades to the box which is I suspect what the claimed costs include.

It's a nice car but that advert is not being honest.

Don't forget that he did spend quite a bit on the bespoke interior. It is a one off car that will appeal. But it is still a bit over priced and advert should be clear.

Agreed, I reckon it would struggle to fetch 25 if the write off was mentioned

Guys, everyone is mentioning "write off" but was this the case?? I know it was damaged by the friend he sold it too then brought it back and repaired it. A little unfair to quote write off without the evidence.

Hi Paul
The car was badly damaged & Chris was very open about it documenting the repair which included chassis damage on here. I'm not saying the car isn't any good just think its wrong of who ever is selling it now not to declare its previous damage especially in light of the asking price!

I remember the pics & it was reasonably damaged, for what they write them in this country for I think they would off declared it here as probably a cat c, but like I've said before I've personally seen cars much worse then repaired & no cat status.

I agree the damage should be mentioned, it's just the mention of "write off" that seems a bit unfair without the evidence as this will affect the sale.
Been trying to find the original thread as I remember it had some photos within showing the repair, but due to Urb losing his profile I can find it, this throws some light on it:

It has always been a uk car but probably wasn't declared to insurance write off as it was overseas... Doesn't change the fact it had a lot of damage including chassis.
When I talk about write off I'm more referring to the damage rather than the technicalities... If it was a real uk write off you wouldn't be able to hide this level of damage.

it was never a 'right off' he just bought it with some damage

it had a new front clam and front clip

remember chris was a structural engineer - it was nicely repaired

the people selling it are a dealer - I think Chris sold it a while back
