Noble performance test : Dutch 2.5 on the bench

Hi guys,

found this recent performance test of a Dutch Noble M12 2.5 : bit disappointing results, but I do not know the setup of the car (ECU, fuel pump etc probably standard ?)

I think some of the earliest 2.5s only made about 280bhp out of the factory, so it's not that terrible.

Haven't actually watched the vid yet. Petrol grades differ country to country.
E.G. V-power in Holland is only 95 RON, where it's 99 here. Got to make a difference but I'm not sure how much. (with the ecu mapped correctly).

230 ps - not good

there has to be something wrong with the car - does anyone understand what the operator said at the end ?

What the operator said at the end :

- very difficult on this car to measure air inlet temperature
- car is running low turbo boost (doesn't say how much)

The owner (the bearded guy) blames it on the car 'being British' (factory performance figures not matching real life).

The car is snickered us as a 3 but it's a 2.5.

Also, was the 230 PS at the wheels?

It is indeed a 2.5, and the owner says it is, but indeed they put on a '3' sticker (for what reason ?)

230 HP at the wheels, so I guess around 280-290 at the crank ?
