I had one made... the black ones leak a little on track... i have the older style one spare if you need? I only changed as my air filter needed to go were the reservoir was originally.

It not so much a leak rather than it get to much pressure and spits it out the pressure release. Simple solution is put a sweat band around the top as this soaks it up smile

the original pot allows aerated oil to return to the pump and thus it cavitates and overflows the pot when rev'd hard on track... my one is baffled to stop this and thus the pump never cavitates and all is well.

the black pot is worse than the milky white one.

We upgrade the engine oil catchment so not sure why people don't do the same to the power steering one rather than fit sweat bands etc lol

Cheers Andy but i already have the old style one. I hate the look of it, but also now ive changed engine and gearbox the old one isn't going to fit back on to the new engine mount.

mine was made to fit a specific location so I could have my huge air filter at front of the bulkhead.

Perfect, this is what I've been looking into at the moment too.

I'll be up for one if you were going to get some made, these things seem to be cheaper if you have more than one made at the same time.

The location Andy's put his in looks good for me.

it was under £200... thinking around £150 but can't exactly recall... but it was a bespoke design made to my spec.

Baffles are not complex but there are more than 1 and the inlets and outlets need some thought... as I say mine doesn't leak on track and I rev mine to 8000rpm...

I could have a word about getting a few made as I'm going to see him in the coming week.

I don't mind taking this on if people want to do a group buy.

The black reservoir used is a ZF, nothing really wrong with it & providing you keep the oil level correct l don't see any issues for most peoples use.
If you really feel the need for change perhaps this would be a good option -
