The Crossroads at Weedon is OK. Very popular during the GP. 3 other Pubs within a couple of hundread yards & a very good Chinese Takeaway a bit further up the hill !!
It's where the A5 & A45 cross & is no more than 1/2 hr from Silverstone. From J16 M1 head for Daventry, go thru Flore & down the hill to Weedon. Crossroads is on the left just at the start of the village.
From there to Silverstone is straight down the A5 to the A43, turn right & youll be there in 5 mins!

Have you tried Whittlebury Hall, which is the nearest and offers good w/e rates. I stayed there last saturday and it was £120 B&b for twin room. Lots of good stuff to see in the hotel too, ie F1 memorabilia.
