ive signed the petition.crazy as its a great day out. wondered why i hadnt seen it advertized and found out that a woman competitor died last year.cant see why that got the whole event cancelled this year,and possibly forever.

This is what you get when you get a green party to run a council.
They have hated this event ever since they got into power, even had
one of there councilers saying that its events like this that have caused
all the bad weather we have been having at the moment.
Saw that on the link to the council web camera.
Brighton is run by total bloody loons.
Oh n btw its run by another lentil munching tw-t called [ and I kid you not,he changed his name to Mr Kit Kat]

lmfao. the event bring so much money into brighton,and arnt there charities that benifit from it somewhere?? i may be wrong.i was so shocked when i heard this event was cancelled,i thought it was a joke at first!!!!!!! i guess the council dont need or want the money generated.

It does indeed, but the money is not pink enough.
