Made a few more bits

with a little bit of time over xmas, i decided to get made a few carbon bits that i wanted to do ages ago,but been busy with another big project on the car. chuffed with the results.uprights just need couple of coats of clear laquer,and polish.
the rear spoiler uprights are 50mm taller than the standard ones.they are immensely strong and only weigh 176 grams each,compared to the 700g each of my origional ones,saving 1.1kg together. i keep saying thats it, but no doubt il find something else to make in the next week or so.lol

Damn - just had mine anodised in black otherwise would have loved a pair of those.

How much are you going to sell them for?

thanks Grant,in my haste i taped up one of the uprights with gaffer tape b4 i let it cure properly,left it near some heat for a day,and it pulled a layer of laquer off when i finally got the tape off, that will teach me to rush!!.luckly its no biggie,and ive sorted it since the photo.lol

Very nice Tony , how did you do the bolt connections top and bottom , I looked at it but could not find a way of threading the carbon , did wonder about putting a threaded brass inlay in but was concerned it would pull out .
