I have just connected my car to the dealer software and confirmed I have a lambda sensor problem - 'Oxygen 2 Sensor Fault [P0150]'.

A couple of questions...

I am 99% certain Oxygen Sensor 2 is bank 4-5-6, Is this correct? I did unplug the sensor and it stopped reading plus when the engine is warm the voltage isn't switching voltage much, if at all.

Using the WIKI information a replacement from Ford is £165+VAT! Has anyone used anything else? I have found these: http://www.lambdapower.co.uk/partsearch/az2.asp?ID... Whilst I have the equipment to replace the plug I don't have the time so will probably opt for the NGK one (The plug in the photograph look correct).

Any recommendations would be appreciated,

Mat

Hi Mat,
I recently fitted the NGK/NTK LAMBDA SENSOR OZA216-D2 which I purchased from e-bay for £60, it was a perfect fit and easy 10min job to swap over. unfortunately it turned out not to be the cause of my over-fuelling issue and the old sensor is perfectly OK!
Drop me a PM if you want my spare?
Cheers,
Davie.

Thanks Davie, using that part number reveals a lot more options.

Thanks Davie, I ordered 2 x NGK LAMBDA SENSORS OZA216-D2 0190 for £42.95 each, they have the correct plug. All fitted and the car is now sorted.

I Haven't fitted mine yet so i asked if i can take mine back to ford dealer . Their reply was 'only if they they cost more than fifty pound for us to buy them in'. So i asked him to check and he got back to me saying it should be ok! By that response I'm guessing that means that it is border line. That is some mark up robbing bds!

Hope they take them back Steve! It's unreal that Ford can get away with puting 400% margin on these!!
