They look like a nice bit of kit Tony. Do they come with any edging strip to make them road legal?

these end plates are the same thickness as what ive had on my car for the last 3 years. my mot guy is very fussy and not once questioned them,!! all edges are radiused so maybe thats why i havnt had any issues.if you reqiure edging for what ever reason it can be purchased extremely cheaply on e-bay or a trimming specialist.

Nice job Tony.
I Love the CF wing ends.
What a difference between them and the heavy stock ones in appearance and weight.

indeed. i did have the weight written down of the original end plates but the are boxed up in the loft. the carbon ones weigh 144 grams each,at a fraction of the weight of the standard ones.glad that the noble guys that have bought these end plates are happy with quality price and service.

We are all in awe about how you managed to make nice end plates from flat sheets of carbon and sell them so cheaply... But can you please advertise you wears for sale in the classifieds rather than generate multiple threads advertising them?

I wouldn't mind if it wasn't so blatant and constantly tinged with underlying digs at your competitions!

Andy ive had these made to help fellow owners. as for blatant selling ive seen you offering countless items on this forum for sale.so where does the comparison lye.

Andy's a selfish bd. He temps us with his skills n amazing stuff n never makes any for the rest of us. I wish he wud sell his stuff. But he is too much of a self absorbed git to do that ;-)

The difference is I don't start threads just to sell parts I'm purely having made to sell, that's called a business... I've only offered parts that people have asked for that I have lying around. I'm not running a business doing it, you are.

Tony, a lot of your posts do seem to come across as 'confrontational'. There are many ways to acheive pretty much the same thing.
In defense of Andy, he wouldn't sell me a carbon splitter, instead he spent several hours intructing and letting me use his kit so I could make my own.
No reason why you can't offer what you've done to other people, but it's a bit wearing when it comes with 'I've already done it' or 'mine are x better than y'.

I've made brackets to move filters to the bulkead. They're very light and better than anyone elses, they increase hp, toast sandwhiches, and make you more attractiv (ok, maybe not).
Do I sell them, no, but I did give a couple of sets away. Look for the thread and the plans are there for anyone to make or change.

Now let's all play nicely!

I agree. Its also not nice seeing an underlying pop when someone else is offering something, that your not (it's not like it's not obvious, in fact on almost every thread there is a negative comment). Unfortunately, you focus too much on what others are doing and make comments like the rubber strips which then come back at you. Having worked in sales for many years, i've found negative selling only impacts on the credibility of the seller. Let a 'truly innovative' product speak for itself and purely focus on the value it offers the customer.

running a buisness?? i have a full time job thanks Andy,so hardly likely to trying to make a couple of quid out of this. let me tell you something, when i made my carbon fibre intercooler box, i was approached by quite a few noble owners who pm me to make them one.quite recently i had rear spoiler uprights made and again i had 6 pm messages asking me to make them a set.i have no plans at present to make any more, so how can i be running a buisness if im turning buisness away?? i make enough money in my own job thanks.
at the price the end plates are going for including bolts etc,how on earth do you think im making any money out of it? if i was selling them for between £200 - £300 then id be stitching people up,and making money!!

You are making these purely to sell them, you are starting the threads purely to sell them... Your accepting cash in exchange for your parts.... Your not the only business that's not making money, it's not a defining feature, nor is turning work away.

In truth there is a lot of people starting threads to show parts they have made and to sell them... That's breaking the rules but fine IMO... But starting multiple threads and basically posting constant negative comments about the competitors is poor form.
Every thread about a competitors carbon product (not started by the trader I hasten to add) you have posted some form of negative comment on today!

I genuinely think it's great your making parts and doing development, but what's with all the negativity and constant digs at others who make stuff to sell like you? Yes you undercut them, but really who cares other than you.

Why not quietly start single threads to sell parts and show off what you have done? Pretty much everyone on here would be happy with that.
