I have a Roush exhaust on my car and I tried to get a noise reading yesterday to see if I would be OK to go on the Silverstone track day TuxMan set up.

I only took the reading on my iPhone which wouldn't go any higher than 100db, but it hit that before 4000rpm, so I don't think I'm going to be able to get on as it is.
Does this sound about right for a Roush system?
I've no idea how many miles it's done on the car, I'll take a guess and say 10,000

I heard the last few people to do this found no wadding left when they did there's.
What levels can I expect after repacking?

we have had problems with the roush exhaust being too noisy , Andy GTT has a guy who repacks the boxes and fits new internals , I've just had a set done for a mate and they look great , should be a big improvement over std . cost was £400 so not too bad .

I think Jetstream were also looking at this- in fact wasn't Kevin field testing it?

Almost every trackday I have done they have told me to hold revs at 4500 for the noise test. I'd guess your borderline if you hit 100 before you got to 4k
