Sat bored at work today I was wondering what was the fastest anyone has gone in a Noble (on track obviously)? I don't like going fast so I won't be trying to match anyone lol mainly aimed at the big power boys this one.....

Mines relatively standard and saw 165mph indicated without breaking a sweat before i bottled it, i can't think fast enough at those speeds. I would love to know how far both a standard and modified one could go if fully let off the chain.

Adrian claims he went close to 200mph down brunters quite a few years back!... fastest ive been in mine was 170mph on the Autobahn a few years back, agree it would be interesting to see what it could do now!

On 500bhp I hit over 190mph on the continent and Funky, Matty etc were following in convoy at about 150+ and saw the 6ft flames come from my exhausts. It will do 200+ with 600bhp and if you find the right continental road or track.

I like a wee tickle!

Yeah Chappers, fit chunkier door seals and it stops that happening till much higher speeds.

Also at 190mph the downforce from all the aero bits and wing really press the car into the road.

Are all the above stated speeds reading from the dial or GPS?

I managed seeing 180, in Spain on the AP7 but was to many bends, was extremely mad, i was coming up on cars so fast that i slowed and bottled trying to go any further, but dhe def had more to give, in all honesty i think the gearing is wrong to hit ,200 we worked out that u would max out at 195 198

That's mad, bet you were gutted you didn't hit the magic 200 being so close at 197! I think you should have another go.

With the aero sorted it is just very noisy, you get a pattering from the front wheels at brunters from the tar joiners on the runway. In a standard car it's fairly scary over 150, the front doesn't feel planted at all.

The reason I started playing with the thing in the first place was that the car could not get past 163, not the 185 claimed by Noble.

Theorhetclly the car could do 204 on the 8k limit with the right size tyres and perfect conditions, but I never got there. it did do173 in 3/4 of a mile through a beam.
