Hi All,

Whilst searching the internet i came across the following album on nobleforums.com where a chap appears to have made additional baffling to go in the trackday sump.

Knowing not a great deal about these things, are these a worthy extra? Should i contact the guy and see if he'll make me some? I'm about to fit the TDS and i want to make sure its as good as it can be as i don't want to remove it again.

I know of the baffles you refer to & sorry but they won't / don't work & in all probability worse than the existing poorly designed Noble one.

As it happens l have been working on a resolve to an issue with the track sump in certain conditions, from an initial prototype redsigned baffle plate with oil control gates l have just fitted the first production version which will be fully tested & proven in February.
I wasn't going to mention this until proven but considering your post thought it a good moment to mention it if anybody's intersted.

Excellent Kevin smile Put me down as a definate.... Like yours, my motec telemetry shows that I get major oil pressure drops in certain corners on track even with the full monty Noble track sump so its a must for me smile

Thats another job off my list of things to do/design smile

Matt the baffle plate won't be available to sell for a few weeks, hopefully by end of Feb it will have been fully proven. Price should be approx £300 + p&p.

The standard Noble track sump baffle etc is fine for normal track use based on a road biased setup & tyres providing you ensure the oil level is kept on the higher level (Don't overfill)

I have a nice shiny set of the US ones you can buy if you want them ?

Thanks for the reply Kevin, as my car is prodominately for use on the road, i'll fit the normal unmodified TDS, and maybe come back to this in the future if i use it on track.

Thanks

Matt
