Hi Folks,
I'm just about to order a couple of GT25RS60 turbo's! smile
Thought as I was buying a nice shiny new PA Intercooler I should get something to keep it busy!!
Anyone else contemplating these give me a shout as we may be able to negotiate a group buy discount with Universal?
Cheers,
David.

From what I looked at I think you should be going for the GT2854. What power are u going for and is this for a 2.5 or 3.0.

Can u PM me what u are paying as I found a good place to buy then from.

Hi Bondy,
Discussed both options with Jetstream, and they recommend the 60's as they have done a few cars with this setup and get great results.
Putting them on 3.0L and I should easily be getting a reliable 450 BHP with quick spool up and potential to go up to 500BHP in future, they will cap torque around 420 as I'm on the 5 speed box with LSD.

Interesting as universal recommend the Gt2554 for the 2.5 and I only want the GT2854s as they have the turbine wheel made from Inconel.

Both have the same compressor map but turbine map is slightly different

The GT2854s are good for 270ea.

Fair enough though the 60s are good but maybe over specked for what u want?

I'll be replacing Turbo's etc shortly to the GT2860's through Jetstream, if perhaps a deal could be sought I'd be up for that. No probs if not.

The figures I got from Jetstream were 500bhp on the 25GT54's and 550 on the 25GT60's.
We didn't discuss GT28's as when I spoke to Graham at universal he said the GT28's are a bit more expensive plus as they are oil cooled there is a lot more involved in fitting them, the GT25's are pretty much a straight swap.

To be honest I don't have a clue and was just going to go with jetstreams recommendations but ultimately I'm spending a ton of money and need it to be right!
Still have a week to decide as Dave away on holiday from today so will try to do a bit more research!
