Can anyone answer this question please! on the pic below. the eight pin plug connected straight up to one on the car, but the six pin plug doesn't connect to anything! is this right?

Yes that is correct, the 6pin just has the boost link wire fitted & nothing else connected.

ok so does any one know if the 8 pin plug has the wires in the same order on the 2.5 and the 3L wiring loom?
