Need Feedback from the UK on ECU issues in the US
Discussion
A few of us in the US have had ECU issues recently with cars idling very rich, stalling when warmed up, build up of soot etc etc.
My car was just dyno'd and at 4600 RPM the Rich lean monitor goes off the scale - literally, at 5000 it max's out and then completely dives.
Any feedback on this - is this the way its supposed to be??
Does Roush or Noble have any comments?
I dont get much power until I hit 3 - 3500 RPM and the first ECU that came with my car didnt work at all.
Thanks

NOOOOOOOO!
My car (R198, 3 months old)idles beutifully, accelerates hard from low revs, pulls away from rest in 2nd easily, and I hit the rev limiter all too often. Your is NOT right, Steve.

All,
I have been in daily discussions with 1g on this issue and we are working on it. (Stephen YHM). We're still trying to identify the root cause and thus find a fix. As you'll appreciate, this is a little tricky over the telephone, but we're making progress.
What you're experiencing is definitely NOT normal, and was not the case on the cars I have mapped over there. As soon as we have a fix, you'll be notified.
Bear with us, please.

Yellowshed - I appreciate the email and the post. I shared the email with about 15 other US owners - it was much appreciated.
I look forward to getting the solution - hopefully it will also help us pass these emission tests over here as well ;-)
Thanks Again - Great Customer Service!

Yellowshed,
I am extremely happy to see your post. I have NUS0057 and am having the same problems. I just took the car out again and it does not push me back in the seat until about 4000 RPMs. Definitely not right. I will very happy to get my power back at 2000 RPMs. I am pleased to see your commitment to a resolution.
