Hello chaps,

Following all the work I've had done, the stereo has lost power & then been reconnected. It now needs the code re-entering. First problem is i cant find the code anywhere ! Second problem is that I don't have the remote...(was lost by prev. owner).. so I can't see how to enter the code as it won't flip open !!!

Any suggestions !!!

cheers

Can't you open it with the little stud on the top left corner (assuming you have the same one as me!). Or does that not work once its been locked? I assume it must because the code is holding down a combination of buttons IIRC.

It looks like the code has locked it out so it won't open. I'm guessing you have to put the code in via the remote!

I had the same problem when I first had mine serviced - I was looking all over for a specific code (like a PIN number) but I eventually found in the manual that it is a sequence of key presses on the remote - something like 5 - left arrow - ATT - open .... I will have a dig around to see if I can find the original instructions ... I have have the head unit replace since then.

Found the bit of paper. Will email you the sequence. Unfortunately you are going to need to borrow a remote to do this. I'm Canary Wharf way if thats any good.
