just had my carbon guy make these carbon window winders to my spec. close to origional shape except ive had them shaped so that they dont foul on the door card,or require a spacer to clear the door card.made in 3mm pre preg high gloss carbon fibre.they weigh 11 grams, compared to 29 grams of the standard alloy window winders.cost wise they were £35 a pair, which i was well chuffed with.if anyone else is interested in these carbon window winders, then im sure he would run a batch to accommodate at the same price.

(Please note I am not running this as a business, merely trying to help fellow Noble owners source cheaper replacement parts in carbon.)

They look great. I'm in for a set please.
BTW, do you know if anybody has mad a carbon kick plate that protects the carpet on the drivers foot-well over the box section that sticks up? I'm always catching it as I get in and out of the car and fear the carpet will wear through. Al

Can you explain how to get the old knob off as I believe it's quite difficult.

Cheers

Hi all, due to the interest may be it will be better to start a list of names. Can somebody start a list (I'm not sure how to do it) with those names already put down so I can get them sent out in order as they come through. Thanks.

Yes it is smileUse a mini C clamp to hold the moving part against the arm so you can unscrew the fixing, hard to describe too!

thanks for starting the names.
they can be a pain to get off. the c clamp must be small to get into the middle of the winder handle.
i used a small flat screw driver and levered under the alloy knob, whilst undoing the allen key that secures it in place. the only modification you will need to do to get the alloy knob to sit snug on the carbon arm, is to countersink slightly the thread on the back of the alloy handle,(knob).
i will post up a pic in the next few days of the the back, just incase anyone is unshure wot im trying to explain.
