Picked up my new M12 GTO-3 from Aberdeen yesterday. Then followed a long 630 mile drive back to London where the car now resides in its new home. A very long day indeed rising at 3am to get the plane to Scotland and not returning home until 10pm. However a very enjoyable one. The car ran absolutely faultlessly for each one of 630 miles and coped with a massive rain storm travelling through southern Scotland and the Lake District with ease. The overriding impression I have after this trip was how well the car rides and can cope with long journeys and rain, and how easy it is to drive I that manner.
I just wanted to say thanks to all the advice you have all have given me over the past couple of months in looking for a Noble and also to the previous owner Mark (who is on the forum somewhere) for passing on his pride and joy to me. I will look after it. Here are some initial photos...

Don't worry, the sun shield is only a temporary measure! I will be removing it soon. Took it a bit easier yesterday and spent all day shining up the car both inside and I and now looking as good as new (with the exception of the sun shield!).
Am based down in Earlsfield in South West London. Would be great to meet up with some other noble owners london/surrey for a drive and will definitely bring the car and myself to some events

Well done Henry, glad you took the plunge.
Obviously you know where I am after you had a spin in mine the other week!
Mine is currently cleaner than its been in ages, even cleaned the Tuxman racing carbon infils and drip tray on Sunday!
Only shame is its developed a driveshaft seal leak after my track day as Matt believes the rubber has perished.
Any ideas anyone, how to sort that without driving it to the Stream of Jet up north?

Thought I'd report back to inform you all that the front window sticker has been removed as many of you seemed concerned! Here's some proof...

Went for a drive up to Box Hill and the surroundings this weekend to take advantage of some rare Winter sunshine. Took some pics and the following one made me laugh when I looked at it in a bit more detail when I got back (zoon in to the tarmac by the side of the car):

Anyway, it's been a great first week with the car. It got a deep clean inside and out today and now looking as shinny as anything.
