what are they like? I guess each is different due to set ups but are they fairly good on our roads? I currently have a vx220 and had tvr,s so used to a hard ride just wondered how straight forward to drive they are just when pootling around?

I had a VX220 and the noble is similar but on steroids and without any rattles or squeaks smile

It's certainly no less compliant or harder to drive than say an E36 M3 and I live very much in the sticks with terrible roads around me.

stock 3L noble will have 350ish bhp and be around 150kgs heavier than yours so won't be a massive difference but will be faster... my VX220 was stock and a non turbo so wasn't the fastest model anyhow.

The best thing about Nobles is their user friendliness and tuneability... mine replaced my M3 as my company car and I traveled to clients all over Europe in it in a suit and tie... its now a 'toy' tuned to over 700bhp and is still used to drive around europe with my good lady along with as many track days as I can fit in smile

IMHO, Noble set up these cars perfectly. It's testament to the skill of 'Tea-boy' as to how supple, yet comfortable the ride is even on long journeys - and with seats that have only a half inch of padding too!

all sounds promising, just finding the vx that bit too small. can u hold much behind the seats for a weekend away?

Been camping to Spa and LeMans with mine, albeit with a support vehicle!!! but there are owners of the "lesser leg" variety that can do it without the support. Been on lots of weekends away with the wife where two pairs of shoes are never enough!! and all fits in fine, Noble luggage set is helpful but not essential.

Last year I took my lady for a Europe road trip to Monaco via paris and then on to camping in lemans... she previously had no interest in cars at all and we packed 2 large cases (standard noble luggage set takes quite a lot) along with camping gear.

Then again in the VX200 you have a boot, so I guess luggage space is similar with maybe the noble having slightly more cubby hole space overall.

The noble is a much more refined car than the vx, doesn't rattle as much, handling is better, not as noisy, faster and generally more comfortably, I currently have both and vx is 250bhp,

My noble is pretty good around west London with the speed humps. And there are a lot!

Doesn't like the ramps in my underground car park though.....have to go down two of them backwards which is sooo boring.

Compared to a standard vx, you need to be a bit more careful over speed humps but it will deal with most of them. You could remove the splitter if necessary.

I put Nitron Streets on my vx and it was similar to the Noble over speed humps. Easier to beach though..

Mine had about 295 bhp, was mad fast but it crashed and banged over every little hole in the road and you have to enjoy the sound of rattles and squeaks. The Noble's ride is as the vx should have been. All in all, it's like the big brother. I wouldn't go back, although I miss the open top.

Quite a few gone from vx to a noble it seems, love the vx but the noble sounds a bit more what I'm after these days. Plus when the other half gets out I have to push her arse to help her out not very dignifiedsmile

Hey

Much easier to drive on our roads than TVR.
I had a TVR T350 and that was a pig to drive on them. This is better with actually a fair bit of group clearance at the front.
