Here's pictures of the car with the new paint job/livery and some sponsor logos applied

Testing went well today, dry at Donny but cold, I managed 2 sessions on low boost (455) to find my feet, then 37 minutes flat out on GT cup map, then sadly under heavy braking I snapped one of the anti roll bar links and had to call it a day.

Was managing steady 1m 12's with a few 1m 11's and set a new PB of 1m 11.5 with 80bhp less than the previous 1m11.8 smile

Hope you like it

Will have some on track shots later hopefully

Car looks fantastic, just missed seeing it in the flesh as I was in Jetstream yesterday, best of luck for the coming season. Are you doing any meetings at Oulton or Anglesey, my local circuits ?

Car looks the biz, Graham! Very respectable times as well - what power and torque are you running on the GT Cup map?? Interesting that you were significantly quicker with significantly less power. Car is more 'driveable' I presume (until of course you snapped one of the anti-roll bar links lol).
I was supposed to be at Donny this weekend but my shocks are still with Dynamics frown

At Knockhill on Saturday Davie,

Will be at Oulton on 31st May with SMRC and 25/26 October

Rob GT map is a touch over 500bhp but 520lbft so out the corner it really takes off. Must be better use of torque and smoother driving to make up for the horsepower loss.

Pirelli slicks were great too!

Hi Graham,

Looks like you've now got the race car to go with the racer! Stunning livery and all round the M400 is now quite literally unrecognisable from the car I saw you run out at Knockhill with last year. You and the Jetstream team have done a cracking job.

I'll possibly be able to make it down to Knockhill this weekend - if so I'll give you a wave as you exit the hairpin but this time please remember to tot your laps up properly wink

ATB for the forthcoming season.

No joy with wheels Barry, For now ill just manage with the 2 sets I've got as funds have been eaten up getting things ready for the start of the season and a garage project.

Paul its 1.11.5 wink, Its maybe not to everyone's taste but its a million miles ahead of how the car looked at the end of last year.

Yes that's the National circuit, i'll be in GTO open class, the only one I can really fit into, sadly its with the fastest GT cars around, so don't expect to see me top 3 in the GT cup, i'm aiming for top ten.

The GT CUP is now fully subscribed with 34 race cars for the championship, only a few spaces at brands and then theres already reserves listed for some other circuits! check out the latest autosport for some info.

Well 1.11s and 1.12s might be off the best of the best last year it still isn't to shabby at all.

I was just warming up of course wink I hope to see 1.10s if I'm honest as I know there are areas I can improve. Also as I'm trying to preserve the engine and fuel, this lap was done with my shift light set at 6500rpm, so if I was to take the revs up to the 7600 limit I'm fairly sure I could bang out a sub 1.10 for qualifying purposes.

Here's a little talk through my 1.11.8 lap for those that know Donny.

First corner I brake from 145mph about 20 yards too early as I have a fear of the gravel and have a tendency to turn in slightly too early (Alcon 6 pots on the way though)take it at 65mph in 4th, I'm pretty much flat out from the apex and at 130mph in 5th down through the first part of craner curves and lift off on the left hander and go through it at 120mph, if I get the line right out craner I take the old hairpin at 75mph in 4th and could probably take it at 80mph. Up under the bridge at 105mph then lift off at 120mph for the left, brake to 65 for the right hander again in 4th and could probably take it at 70. Hit 90 on the uphill in to 5th and a dab of the brakes to take the first of the double right apex at 70mph where I should take it at maybe 75, on the exit of the double right hander I'm already up to 110mph as it straightens out and just touch 140mph before I brake for the chicane, again probably too early (really will be more comfortable with the 6 pots) go through the right hand part of the chicane at 54mph then up to 68mph as I power out of the left hander, cross the line at 130mph.

Average speed for the lap is 99.6mph and hit 1.4-1.55G of cornering force 9 times during the lap, I'm positive on Pirelli's its more but I don't have the data from the 1.11.5 lap.

Well when you are running it with race fuel and map it to it that will help.
