Went to take the car out this afternoon drove around half a mile then noticed a lack of power and LOTS of smoke coming from the rear car sounds like its running on 4 cylinders the smoke is coming out of both exhausts any ideas (I had my turbos rebuilt by garrett just over a year ago)

Cheers

The lambdas are only used at idle and low throttle below 2k rpm I think. Is this where you see the smoke/power loss?

Do u get a spark from all leads. The smoke might be just too much fuel due to not firing on all cylinders.

Hi Martin,

It was grey smoke on initial start up everything is fine and engine runs smooth but about a minute later thats when the smoke starts and the lumpiness happens.I changed the plugs last night for some otheres I had that are not new but look fine still smoked and ran lumpy had some spare leads (new) as well changed them over ran a bit better but still smoked.Put old leads back on(it was dark by this time)and I only ran the car for a min or two but did not see any smoke but car was running like low on cylinders.

Will be checking it again tonight to see if it smokes or not one thing I think I may have got a lead mixed up with the wrong one ?.Looking at the car from the back and the coil pack the second row of connectors (the bulk head side) to the left near the intercooler i put the lead on and connected it to the plug hole at the opposite end then one next to it with the hole opposite it then the same for the last one.Anybody know the exact sequence please of all the connectors and plugs ? cheers Chris
