I'm going to install an amp and removable sub behind the Pax seat.
I've got a nice shallow amp that will sit inbetween the chassis rails and I've made an alloy bracket which I will rivnut in place so the sub can sit on top of it with enough cooling air and seat clearance.
Lovely.
What I don't know is how to run the cables.
I'm out of the county for the rest of the month, so I need some advice, so I can plan and order everything for the week when I am back in the UK.
I need to run a power cable from the battery to behind the pax seat, where is the best place to feed/run and drill the cable.
I was planing to earth on a seat belt bolt.
How do I run the cables from the back of the seat to the head unit?
Can I use the door sills.
Last time I pull off a bit of carpet it was just covering a chassis rail how do I get access to the door sills?
Or should I run the cables down the tunnel?
If so where is a save place or dill a hole.

Whether there's a better option I don't know, but mine had an amp fitted at the factory during assembly. It's on the bulkhead behind the drivers seat and the RCAs run through the tunnel along with the switch and speaker cables. I understand it had a sub too but that was sold off by a previous owner.

This is the amp I started off with.
Very small and very expensive, there is room to mount it behind the PAX kick pannel, but I was worried about the AirCon dripping on it.

So I went for this one to fit behind the PAX seat.
I now need to run the cables from the amp behind the seat to the head unit.
I think I can use the door sills but I've no idea how to get into them.

I went for a rockford fosgate slim 10" sub, there is just about enough room to fit and removed it without taking the seat out, I made a alloy plate for it to sit above the amp, with a bit of cooling space, with the luggage bag will also sit on.
