Anyone near Knockhill with an alternator handy???

Or any ideas of how I can keep going tomorrow?

I plan to charge the battery overnight and run with no lights, no gearbox cooler as it's cold anyway, and Vbox off. Hopefully it will last the race but I know the fuel pumps draw a lot of power.

Fastest time of the day till that happened though. frown

If its a full size battery you could run it total loss

From memory an 044 draws 8 amps

No it's one of the smaller 'extreme" batteries for bikes with no alternator king of battery.

However a quick car to Jetstream and I may have something to try, might not be dead yet.

So not to have to stressful a day, I'd get down to Halfords or whoever is near and get a fullsize battery and some clamps. Then work on the alternator,

Sorry to hear that G, you were looking really quick today too! 60s laps in rain and traffic is pretty impressive!
