Damn hard pipe kit!!!

Started installing the hard pipe kit today
Confused!!!
The 180 degree went on
Think I have the front turbo pipe on OK with 2 x elbows, one slightly more than 90 degrees,
as for the pipe with the air sensor in it, do you have to cut the original pipe and then just insert the new aluminium section?

my dad said the supplied straight pip with my intercooler wouldn't fit, and that the exit from the intercooler to the throttle body was angled down for no reason. I'll get some pictures when I can. He didn't sound impressed.

If you tilt the intercooler backwards, the down - angle works to route to the throttle body, have you got it mounted vertically?

it's perpendicular to the existing, modified intercooler box as shown in the instructions, how would you tilt it back? all the bracketry is at 90 degrees.

sorry, I mean the outlet is made tilted UP. The intercooler would have to be tilted forward for the outlet to be horizontal. If it was manufacturered with the pipe tilting down so that when intercooler was leant back enough that pipe was horizontal, that would make sense, but tilting it up further seems weird.



Just to clarify, I'm using the standard pipes and modifying them as in the instructions.

No, they don't, seems you have to cut the original pipe!!!!

I see now Chappers - Just checked mine, I have a 45 (ish) degree elbow so my pipe goes off horizontal to the TB
