Regardless of the 3D printing (quite common now) I like the fact that it's two turbos in one to give a better broader range

You can have this TODAY and is nothing new! Take one twin scroll turbine housing and install a 'Quick spool valve' (https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=Quick+spool+valve&tbm=isch&source=lnms&sa=X&ei=MyNqU7eREeag7AbvxIGwAw&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAQ&biw=944&bih=604).

Job done!

Oh and testing on a rear mounted Camaro gave approx 33% reduction in spool times.
