Cylinder numbering

Hi All,

With the engine in the car, which cylinder is cylinder 1, 2, 3 etc?

Is the drivers side, forward cylinder number 1

One the 2.5 the furthest away drivers side is no 1
no 6 is dia to that, passage side near baulkhead

get urself a Haynes manual
covers all mondeo up to 2.5 v6
proberly got them for 3l as well
