what's happened to my lights?

Strange one this. When I turn on the headlights I think they're permanently on full beam. I'm not 100% about that but the beam looks higher than normal. There is no blue light & nothing changes when I dip the beam. When the lights are off they won't flash either. Could this be a relay?

Sounds like the relay has welded contacts, worth swapping out.

Thanks, I'll take a look over the weekend. Are the relays in the passenger footwell?

yep, behind the passenger side toe-board (for want of a better description!).

Looks to be the 2 relays at top left. 1st relay is low beam, second is high beam.


How's that chicken doing?
